THE CHALLENGE
Engage 1500 fans in a massive and immersive interactive environment where impressions are garnered through premium distribution, social media hashtags, The RickMobile, and a 60 ft. wide LED wall screening 90 minutes of unaired content. 12 venues, including Comic Con San Diego, comprised a nationwide tour over 6 weeks. Our task: to provide technical direction, on site production management and logistical support to Adult Swim and Motive Agency.
THE solution
Working closely with Adult Swim's internal creative department and Motive Agency a footprint was conceived that bridged the client's specific aesthetic, including co-branding of the tour's corporate sponsor Geico, into a seamless immersive environment for fans to cultivate a meaningful and lasting impression of 'On The Green.' Daily interfacing with touring and local vendors, venues and crews ensured all technical challenges were consistently met on the 2+ acre footprint brought to life by remote generator power, a massive mobile LED wall with concert quality audio, crowd control and security for 1500+ fans, and parking on site. Daily reports were generated to reflect the day's successes and ROI for the client.
THE RESULT
12 successful full scale activations from Arizona to New York City were rolled out bringing the Adult Swim and Geico brands to more than 18,000 fans on site, 250,000 fans via live streaming, and 300,000 impressions on social media. 10,272 premiums were distributed, 4,404 Geico surveys were conducted, and over 17,300 boxes of free candy were given out. The main attraction, unaired Adult Swim content, was flawlessly delivered to fans including 3 days of live streamed programming at San Diego Comic Con.
